No, we used a separate container for our creek water to pour into the filter. I think this particular time we used our pot that we cook in to retrieve the water. We always carry an environmentally safe soap to clean our dishes. Thanks
So you used the plastic jar to pour the unfiltered water into the upper container? How'd you clean the inside of the jar before putting the "clean" water into it?
