@FGalaxie opposite my friend :) Genetic research (but also knowledge of history) proved that just 10% of modern Turks have turkish origin, modern Turks are descendants of autichtonous anatolian people who were Greeks and spoke greek befour the turkish conquest, majority of Anatolians spoke greek. Just after massive islamization and turkification the turkish nation was created, based on religion. While same research showed that Greeks descend from pre-classical mediteranean people.

@DEVRIMCI2007 It's a film where (remember it's time of second world war after italian armistice) a shrewd turkish merchant that pretend to be friend of italians saying "italians- turkish, one face-one race" like the greek pope say to italians in another scene of the same film.

the italian soldiers are worry about this merchant because they think he would be a spy or a enemy and they ask themselves if turkey it's now become theyr allies or not. (germans are still becomes enemies).
