Fazers and hornets are for people in their mid life crisis or people with a bad back that cant handle a ninja but dont want to be ridiculed for haveing a chopper or a cruiser. it is the perfect compromise.

I agree. Quite different bikes. The ER-6n is a parallel twin, this is an inline 4. The finish on the Honda is guaranteed to be much better than the ER-6n, which is more budget than the hornet (so worse suspension, chassis, brakes atc). A more comparable kwak would be the Z750.

Not sure about the new Hornet's rear end but seriously considering upgrading from my cbf500...

When i said that new Hornet is very similar to ER-6n i refer only in their aesthetic, their engines are huge different and also in their cycle part. The new Hornet´s prize in Spain is 8290€, and you can buy a similar bike like a GSR600 for 7290€ or FZ6-S2 for 6999€. Honda have a good quality but the good quality you need buy it..But i like Honda´s bikes, i´ll have probably a new CBR600RR..XD

Wow! Vaya diferencia entre los precios! In the UK the new Hornet will cost £5500 with linked ABS, and £5200 without (around €7750). You definitely have to pay a lot for that little extra with Honda but I would be prepared to pay it. Still with the gsr and fz6 you are getting a lot of bike for the money for sure.

Good luck with the CBR600RR! I would prefer a Hornet for the road (especially as I'm in London) but if I could afford to have a weekend bike...(I'll keep dreaming)

haha!! it´s true that CBR is not a very confortable bike for day to day, but this year Honda´s enginners makes a very usefully(usable,no se si se dice asi..) sport bike. ABS is not recommend if you have an sport driving, i listen that.

very similar ER6n...nice bikes both!but this hornet is too expensive

This one makes nearly 40 hp more power too.
