Yea, you can give him vitamin C, it won't hurt him at all. You might want to try getting the liquid kind, or chewable ones. If you get the sweet chewable ones he might just eat them, lol. Also, they love fish oil pills, the liquid capsule kind. I have three ferrets on meds right now, one of them wont be on them for much longer, because she just had surgery, and she is recovering with pain meds, and antibiotics. Good luck!
Yea, just thought I'd also let you know, there are a lot of people who give their dogs vitamin C daily. There's a slew of other vitamins you can give dogs too. I've just never bothered giving mine any, she's 9 years old, and I took her to the vet the other day, she said she's as healthy as a 4 year old, lol, which is great!
Hi Don, sorry, I can't be any help to you with this. I've never owned a dog. It may be expensive, but if the illness persists, you may have to bite the bullet and take him to a vet. I hope that his health improves soon. Ray

It happens, my three dogs all had colds once, i'd just let it run it's course, it takes about a week to pass.
