I like your nightly routine. Its very simple. I get so frustrated with trying to wrap my hair and this has inspired me to try out a routine that works for me. Thank you
You are an inspiration! I just started my journey in December 2010 after getting a "trim" from my hairdresser, which ended up looking like a cut. I can't wait to get results like yours!
Your relaxed hair is long and gorgeous. I can see you take good care of your hair. Do you self relax? Right now, I am trying to research whether to go natural or keep relaxing. Your hair is what mine used to look like when I was younger.

Love your vids. Your good re combing once a day. I don't even do that. I comb once a week! LOL To much new growth going on which will result to a lot of breakage for me.
does this mean that you leave your hair in a hairbow and moister the tips every day , all day or do you take everything out and moister by sections???
You just reminded me about the kemi oil. I'm going to the store to get it today. That oil is the best. I can't believe I forgot about that. And also, you have inspired me to start using my rollers more often. I'm trying to get away from using heat everyday. thanks. I love your videos.
I never have really did any conditioning between visits with her every two weeks and I now see that may be where my mistake was. so thanks again girl. I will subscribe to you and follow your journey for inspiration. Thanks again!!!
Vonnique, thanks for allowing youtubers to follow you on your journey. I was recently undecided on what path to take with my hair, I am now 3mths past my last perm date and was just doing blowouts to keep hair managable, talked with my stylist who informed me I shouldnt wait so long....perferably no longer than 8 weeks if I was not transitioning due to possible breakage at spot where new growth and permed hair met, so she suggested a texturizer instead. So I think I may go with that next week
hi vonnique I'm lizzy from the bahamas, Well my hair is not relaxed or permed or anything like that, it's natural, what tips do you have for people with natural hair vonnique?
I decided to give some of the products you use a try. I bought the Organics Carrot Oil and KemI Oyl. I LUV THE CARROT OIL. It's so creamy and rich. I went behind it with the Kemi Oyl. It smells really nice, but it left my hair kinda sticky. Did I just get a bad batch of oil. All the bottles (in the shelf) were really sticky when I bought it. Or did I just use too much? PLease help!!!!!!!
I noticed that your hair at beginning of journey was short from damage, but was your hair long when you were a little kid? Just wondering if this growth thing is new to you, or if you were just short because of some bad damage.
My hair would never grow past my shoulders when I was small. But I was not aware that with better care and low manipulation I could achieve health and lenght. The breakage was due to neglect.
My hair is going thru this right now. My relaxer didnt take two weeks ago and now my hair has shrinkage and i air dried my last wash. Wooh, I cant wait til my next relaxer!
hey vonnique! I also use Scurl as a moisturizer every day but after i apply it, i usually don't let it air dry. basically i wrap it (i guess into a wet wrap) and put my satin scarf on. DO you think that's a good idea?
Ar drying avoid heat. Too much heat is not good for your hair. I use a hooded dryer when I do a deep conditioner. If u are going to use heat I highly recommend a heat protectant
Nice Vid, so you put the shower cap on everynight, I've been wanting to do that too but someone said that would be over moisturizing, please my hair needs all the moisture it can get. YOu also have really nice bangs I really hate when women with long hair cut bangs because it always make their look not so cute, but yours are really pretty.
Yeap! I just make sure not to put "too much" if you know what I mean, but As long as u seal your hair, personally I dont think u can 'over moisturize'. But to each its own.. just experiement and see what works for u. I like my hair to be dry the next morning so I put just enough to get that end result. I tried growing my bangs out but it didnt fit me so yea I have stuck with them.. thanks for the compliment I love them too.

I am not sure, I have never experienced "sticky-ness". Kemi oyl shouldnt be applied heavily though. a little goes a long way. hope this helps!
