  • Daym, big puppy woke up fast. With engines that big it sometimes takes about 15 seconds of cranking for it to light off. That must have been ran before this clip.

  • @Nighthawke70 - It fires up quick because it's a diesel. Big engines running on natural gas crank for a long time because they require a purge cycle to ensure no gas has leaked into the cylinders before the ignition is energized.

  • Only 1?

  • NOW ONE QUESTION WILL IT BLEND ??

  • @KRAYSLiCK999 am i the only one, who thinks, that this "will it blend" thing on youtube got dull and...lame?

  • Mitsubishi S16-MPTA, crap engine, realy bad engine. Allot of problem with fuel progress in the lubrication oil.

Fuel injection pump plungers in real poor quality.

Top en overhaul to be done already after 4000 running hours and total overhaul after 8000 running hours.

    Spare parts are unbelievable expencive.

  • I wanna put that in my TJ :D

  • This car can be seen LIVE on the "Brazzelday" (7th and 8th May 2011 - The museums birthday celebrations) at the Technik MUSEUM SPEYER, Germany.

  • I don't know what I would ever do with such an engine, BUT I WANT ONE!

  • is that an s16 u?

  • @Bamchucknorris It is... when standing next to them you expect these things to blow up anytime, they pack so much power and heat... but they're safe I guess.

  • coloca um motor desse num opala jah penso! AuhAUhUHA

  • Grunt, grunt, grunt. POWER.

  • Its a generator - used to supply power when the utility fails - usually auto start and the switching takes place automatically so that the building gets power. The room will not get to hot as there is a stonking great big cooling fan and a radiator to get rid of the heat. Four turbos are fitted as this will allow the engine to react to a load deviation quicker than what it would with one turbo. Stops the lights dimming when they turn on something like a chiller some other power hungry equipment.

  • Can you imagin? If it was perfect mechanical energy to electrical energy thats 182,000 watts!

  • @frosty9595

1.812 MW -that is in fact 1.812.000 watts, not 182.000 W, LOL that is a LOT more :)

  • @ruggedscot69 are you retarded? cuz im leaning towards special Olympian here

  • @ruggedscot69 the mega watts that some gen sets put out in a city could power a city. I work in a building that could power our downtown on emergency power. If buildings in a night mode would run off cheap power source...Imagine the savings. Too bad most genny's work off of natural gas or diesel....Course lately the cost of any fuel isn't helping any of us.

  • nice turbos's

  • makinera

  • Ohhhh yeahhh. Swap that on my Mustang!

  • Is that thing in an enclosed room? Wouldn't it get REALLY hot in there?

  • ale klofta

  • se isso ai for pra um carro, o carro voa !!

  • Mooie mooie bwennnno. Cuchie me licka ??

    Bigo motoro !

  • i saw nearly the same thing at this hotel. it was used as a generator. the guy told me it was cummins but i don't believe him.

  • Quad Turbo???

  • zaaaa jenerator :P

  • I think its a Mitsubishi S16R-PTA.. 4 turbos! And about 65 Litres displacement. I think its about 2000hp probably.

  • looks like a mitsubishi to me...

  • diesel generator

  • what motor is this???

  • damn

  • se lo kise montar en mi moto, pero no me cavia el ultimo cilindro xDDD
