  • maybe it's just me but seems like there's a point where u're left rather vunerabe to an inside trp...

  • @loveonwheels202 The thing that stops the trip counter is your forward momentum, you´re not staying there upruight with the underhook, but you start to drive him backwards so he can´t trip you since that would require both of you moving in the opposite direction

  • @KingColt1985 i see what your saying, and yes ideally you're in constant motion, but if for whatever reason you're stalled, it leaves you rather vunerable... not a bad thing to have in your bag of tricks, but just doesn't seem too practical or efficent

  • Lmfao "notice my body position my head is here not here" he just kept bobbing his head down there lmao other than that really good drill

  • Really helpful. Drilling this tomorrow. Thank you

  • This is really useful and cool, thanks! So easy to forget that wrestling, judo and bjj actually come from entirely different perspectives. This just made me sub to Sub101 channel!

  • Thank you cant wait to drill this tomorrow

  • when you extend your arm , isnt easier to go for a double leg? youll end up in side control since your to his side

  • cool

  • perhaps a channel for submissions and a channel for wrestling/grappling etc. would be better

    awesome vid though :D

  • I'm ok on the ground but offensive take downs are my weakness..

  • @gmax876

Same here. I always pull guard. I need to really improve my takedowns. I will practice this one.

  • Yet another interesting and informative grappling vid from sub101. Brilliant as always, keep up the good work. The best grappling instructional channel on youtube? Probably!

  • Great upload Ari -THX!!!

  • i wonder how many poeple got hurt their from all of these move? O_O

  • I hope you guys come out with some more BJJ gi videos because I have a tournament coming up on august 27th.

  • Realllllly diggin' these wrestling videos. Such a good Idea to start off with just standing clinch work, then build on the takedowns afterwards. Nice job guys!

  • Let's see one on how to do a German Suplex

  • Does this guy have a DVD?

  • Can we see what the entire take down looks like(ie go all the way to the ground?) and learn how to position ourselves in the fall?

  • Does this guy give anyone else the Creeps or what? And why does he take so long to explain everything, oh I get it that's how he takes you down first he puts you to sleep by talking, then he waits till you fall over and then jumps on you LMAO!!

  • u guys shouldve made a different channel. one for wrestling and one for grappling

  • @koralen08 You basically need wrestling to grapple. Unless your strictly Judoka. Or a pull-guard pro. Why separate the two?

  • It's not one of the best choices to take down an enemy cos u'd eventually get punched while you're grabbin the leg.

  • @OrpheNaruto The whole point of unbalancing the opponent (head to chest, not waist) and quickly taking him down is to avoid the opponent having a chance to defend. See careful grasshopper and you learn.

  • submission 101 goes wrestling C:

  • really nice, technique will ever be over strength

  • @AdeleVEVVO really thought u were actually adele

  • There are a few more wrestling videos on the way. Thanks for the support.

  • @Submissions101 Should I still keep my head on his chest to off balance him even in a submission grappling scenario where chokes are available?
