Never seen such a bad player on these batreps...Not only did he have to realise that the scarabs were coming for his vehicles, but they're the fastest units on the board! Why did he continually fire into those Warriors. He could've either blasted the Scarabs completely, or at least wounded them a few times, saving his vehicles. After that, you would think the next best option is to take down the Lychguard. They have a smaller squad, and it'd be easier to destroy and negate the resurrection...

if the vehicle is charged by multiple units at the same initiative step the results from entropic strike apply before the other units without entropic strike roll for pentration

he's doing the scarabs wrong. they don't get to role to hit, reduce armour value and then roll for penetration, by doing that u are technically doubling their attacks which is broken, the roll for entropic strike is their penetration roll. the faq refers to other models in a multiple combar at the same initiative step being able to roll for penetration on the modified or unmodified armour values.

@necromaticwolf yeah I was able to look at the codex and the "hits" cause the armor reduction before the armor attack results. Thanks for the reply. It just makes them nasty and means that scarabs go up on the target priority list.

woot woot go necrons been playing them for over 2 years now and it's nice to see that the new codex is letting them stand their own great job matt maybe one day i will get to put my necron dynasty vs yours

Good BatRep, sorry to say it looked like the game was over at deployment. The IG should have put everything in the corner and used his range to his advantage. Forgetting about Vulnerable to Blast with the Scarabs did not help either. Better luck next time.

if someone has said it once I'l say it again cam doesn't know what he's doing guard have had a hard time with everyone saying that guard are useless and horrible cam isn't really doing us justice

Good old Fabian tactics with guard,shoot ,kill,walk across the gore and slime.Tired of seeing noobs with range supremacy close.I No necron ot tyrannid ever got within 18 inches before their army died.

Hehe the guard player had horrible target priority. The lascannons could have killed the command barge on turn one and there was plenty of shooting to wipe out the scarabs too.

I think that's why they did so good - they were allowed to live while the officers fixated on the fairly rubbish warrior squads. It's no good firing at Necrons bit by bit, you need to eradicate them one at a time so they can't roll to get back up.

Maybe I missed something but are you doing the scarab attacks right! All attacks happen simultaneous. How are you hitting different armor values in the same combat and causing glances and penetrations?

@Smegstasy LOL! I love it when people call some one a cheater when they don't know the rules. It was spelled out in the FAQ released by GW that the stripping of armor happens before the penetration roll. Maybe do some research before calling some one a cheater ;)

@scoobysnack907 gw let out a fix on the codex it says that the attacks first lessen the armor then the scarabs attack on the lower armor value

By the way, Matt, your fast skimmer despite moving flat out won't become wrecked if it is immobilized on an opponent's turn. This only happen on your turn. i.e. if you move flat out and land on dangerous terrain.
