@cacurious: Thank you so much for the support, I don't consider myself to be separate from "normal" people, but I do feel like this subject is not talked about openly nearly enough, and that the focus is rarely on the children affected, but is rather put on the addict themself. I feel it's important to open people's eyes to the victims of circumstance involved in these situations.

You have been given a ‘perception.’ The world, the people in it....a skewed tripod,..attached to the “camera of life.”
What I see... an amazing human being...a survivor, someone reaching out to the WORLD!
How many “normal” people even know of the need?
What do you see?
How can our perceptions be so different?...
To be aware is to be prepared....prepared for how your perception may be different....Different than me.
