hey just helpful info... perlite sucks! use vermiculite its way easyer and goof free practicly i use vermiculite for all my stuff and have been very sucsesful and i tryed perlite and half the clutch went bad so vermiculite is easyer u use 1 cup of water for ever 2 cups of vermiculite and perilite is like 14 cup of water for 2 cups of it
whats the stuff called under the paper???how old do snakes have to be???cause me and m yfriend bryson are gonna breed our snakes his snakes name is speedy my snakes name is kayleigh.=)
@reptilemad43 Yes. For example, I had no idea my snakes were going to mate this year. I kept the temperatures the same as always and they mated! I'm expecting eggs soon!
is that a one size incubator. what i mean is. i am looking on sites for that specific incubator. i can't find any different ones. the picture is showing it with an egg turner in it. so i can't tell how deep it is, inside it. can u post where u got yours? thanks.
I just ordered this exact model in the U.S. It only cost me $40 plus $10 shipping(shipping costs more into Canada). If you are interested, e-mail me and I will let you know.
Just wondering.... If the perlite had gotten too dry, what are the methods of rehydrating it? Would you just pour a little water on the sides and it'd just..flow throughout the whole container? Hopefully you can answer and help me, thanks!!
I'm debating to either breed a het peid ball python to my normal ball. Or corn snakes. I'm leaning towards ball pythons since corns are really really common. What do you think?
do you need to put air holes in the container in the incubator? sorry about all the comments I just need to know a little more info and it seems like you knwo what your doing.
You can but you don't have to. If you want to add water the the vermiculite every week you don't need them. If not poke a few small holes no bigger then 1/8 of an inch, and add water to the bottom of the incubator.
It doesnt hav to be complicated just use hatch rite

Do you have the fan in your incubator? Is the fan necessary or not, and why?
rnparker71 2 years ago
Most people do not use fans because they dry out the egg. It is not necessary.

Cornsnake33 3 years ago
did you, as you had holes in your egg box, put water in the incubator?
Or did you put it in the Perlite?
If I do have holes in the egg container, i don't eed to add water to the Perlite?
If i don't have holes, then i do have to add water to the Perlite? Correct?
Cheers
