@nufto Absolutely, and it's probably one of the cheapest, yet most used additions you will add to your equipment. Once you use a bahtinov you wonder how you managed without one, they really are that good! Obviously you need the right one for the scope as they are custom to aperture and focal length.
As you have said it's made of memory plastic, so if your original one shrunk in the cold and damp, surely putting it in your airing cupboard where it's warm and dry should return it to it's original size ;0)
@gromits1 That is what worked for me. About the time dew formed on my SCT, my mask would not fit! Fortunately I had a battery powered microwave built into my home-built dob that dried it off in a jiffy.
