I've got to say that this is an amazing game. Before yesterday i had never heard of this game, i had only chanced acrosseed it because of my 3DS's E shop that has Risky's revenge. And sometime today after school i think I'm going to download this game. Because it looks like a lot of fun.

Aww yeah! This game is awesome. Unfortunately I was never able to locate a physical copy locally, even though the power of the Internet allowed me to learn about it and be excited for it. I'm so glad a sequel has been released! Matt Bozon's artwork always makes me smile (his Shantae comics like "Inverted again!" are absolutely hilarious!).

Aw man, I just saw this game on eBay BRAND NEW for $500! No lie! The lowest I've ever seen this game sell for is $100. Now I really wish I would've gotten it back then when I had the chance :c

In case you did not know, playing this on Gameboy Advance makes the graphics a bit better and adds other extra things. I have only read about it in either Game Informer or Nintendo Power.

@KyubiStewie Game Informer never showcases good games anyway. Nintendo is the only magazine that has any good games (translation: most good games are Japanese. This game is possibly the greatest exception to that rule ever.

I completely agree. I JUST found out about this game via Risky's Revenge on the 3DS eShop and had to download an emulator to start playing it, 'cause I am NOT going to pay almost $200 to buy it, but now I'm starting to think it would be worth it.

I had never heard of this Shantae game before. Now I've ended up watching this video and reading your blogs. I really like the graphics. It's a cute style.

If you really like this game, order a Shantae copy off of eBay for your GBC. Don't have a GBC? Get a BGB and a Shantae ROM. Although, I don't recommend this unless you love Shantae very badly.

@SonicstarVocaloid I think so. Just map it onto your keyboard or gamepad through the options on your emulator and you are all set! :-D It's not rocket science.

Oh, and Gambatte and PlayGuy are also other emulators that work with the game.
