I first heard Lee Oskar's music in 1984-1985 and loved it that was while I lived in Nigeria, then, I moved to the United States, lost my music collection and much else. But I have had "Our Road" in my head for 25 years but could only remember it as, "Now That I Feel So Good, Tell Everybody" AND no records or CD or music seller knew what I was talking about!!!! UNTIL now, I just stumbled upon my long lost friend Lee Oskar! Thank heavens for the digital age and the internet! I am in bliss euphoria

Always reminds me of my mom- usually makes me cry- sometimes makes me just sit and smile remembering her. This was one of her faves she used to play on the record players that would play the song OVER AND OVER again! I still have the 45 and I still have the record player!

I remember when it came out back in 77' 78', I was in Marine Corps stationed in North Carolina,,,met another Marine who had also been in a California band prior to enlisting in Corps. We both had both patterned our style after after Lee Oscar while he was with War....When he (Lee) went solo we sat and practiced to this album...this song in particular....and as all Marine's...we competed for best Harp player...Memories !
