Why i can' t watch 3d movies through a ps3 ? I have the 3d tv and this is what appear ( you do not appear to have a 3d tv connected please connect a 3d tv througt an hdmi connection to continue ? Why?
@artqui83 You’ll need to be sure that your PS3 is running the latest firmware as the console wasn’t always 3D capable. Be sure your HDMI cable is 1.4 compliant for 3D video content. If the firmware is up to date and you have the proper HDMI cable, you may have other problems. If you purchased the TV from us, you can contact our tech support department. If you purchased the equipment elsewhere and the retailer will not help, you may need to contact the manufacturers directly. HTH!--Crutchfield
@artqui83 It likely has less to do with the console and more with the settings on the television. The 120/240Hz frame rate of many LCD/LED televisions can provide better picture quality for television and movies but can often cause a slight latency between the controller and display for gaming. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield
@crutchfieldtv Thx for the help. I was able to find the "game mode" option and it really works. There is virtually no lag and accuracy increased substantially although graphics do suffer slightly but its barely noticeable. Still looks great though. I am very happy with this tv. The colors are very bright and beautiful to the point that it can actually pass as a full array led instead of edge led.
@artqui83 Absolutely. The plasma models are terrific for gaming applications. The LED models also offer excellent performance but the 240Hz frame refresh rate can add a slight lag between the controller and display. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield
@trenken I really don’t know where you’re getting that from. Both the LED and Plasma versions of the D7000 work very well for gaming. Just be aware of potential burn-in issues with the plasma models and the potential controller lag with the LED models. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield
@artqui83 For the LED models, the D8000 comes packaged with two pairs of the Active Shutter glasses and offers “Micro Dimming Plus” for greater contrast than the 7000 series. In the plasma line, the D8000 offers a built-in web browser and greater dynamic contrast ratio. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield
@jerryx2000 For the LED models, the D7000 offers "Micro Dimming" and the D8000 offers the "Micro Dimming Plus". The Micro Dimming of the D7000 groups the LED into quadrants that can be dimmed separately from the other quadrants while the Micro Dimming Plus offers the independant dimming option on the indivdual LED level. The Plus version offers greater acuracy and contrast. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield
@SuperLifesweet Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. The smallest size we offer in the “D7000” series is a 46” model. All of the D7000 televisions offer multiple USB ports for connecting mass storage devices. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield
@SuperLifesweet Again, I apologize for the delayed response. No, there is no “Save” feature on the television’s networking feature or built-in web browser. That type of requirement is best suited for your laptops and PCs. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield
@Sniki3 Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. While the provided web browser does not support flash content, they do offer applications for streaming video from YouTube, Netflix, HuluPlus and more. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield
@Floyd087 Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. We do not offer the “D7050” model and do not have the specs for it. I’m sorry I don’t have better news for you there. You may want to try contacting Samsung directly: 800.726.7864. HTH!--Crutchfield
I just recieved this exact TV from Crutchfield and it does come with the Qwerty remote. Got it on black friday sale for 1797 with a 3 year warrenty WHAT WHAT!!!
@IMFATBOYUBZ The LED/LCD model discussed in this video does not come with the “QWERTY” remote but is compatible with an optional one. In fact, all of the LED/LCD D7000 models come with a voucher for a free “QWERTY” remote. You must mail it in to Samsung and allow 10-12 weeks for delivery. The Plasma D7000s do not offer this option at all. You must step up to the D8000 models on the plasma line to get the “”QWERTY” remote. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield
@crutchfieldtv THANKS ALLOT FOR THE 411 IVE BEEN LOOKING TO BUY A 3D TV BUT IM LOOKING FOR THE BEST ONE EITHER I GET THIS ONE OR THE LG 65 LW6500 WICH DO YOU RECOMEND
@IMFATBOYUBZ They are both great sets. The big difference is the 3D display technology. Samsung uses "Active Shutter" glasses and LG uses the "Passive" glasses. The active glasses are the only way to get true HD quality 3D images but the passive glasses are much more affordable and offer better off axis viewing. HTH!--Crutchfield
@crutchfieldtv That's incorrect. The D7000 model in all sizes DOES come with the QWERTY remote.
Google "un60d7000 features samsung" click the company's website link and click "See All Features." See Features on right side. In every size for the D7000 it lists that a QWERTY remote is included.
@MatthewsRealEstate actually crutchfieldtv is correct. some of the early d7000 models do not include the qwerty remote but does include a voucher for a free qwerty remote that must be filled out and sent directly to samsung. according to samsung it was a timing issue that didnt coincide with the rollout of the tvs.
i also know this first hand since i sold a 55d7000 5days ago and my customer was irritated bc the remote was not in the box but rather just the voucher.
@MatthewsRealEstate dude i agree. mym customer was like "where's the remote?" and i honestly at the time did not know about the voucher. after looking it up i explained it to my customer. but yeah, pretty lame that it does not state that...
@hardhaz The D8000 is considered a step-up model over the D7000 in both the Plasma and LED categories. The D8000 Plasma models offer more “Smart TV” features and come with a “QWERTY” keyboard remote control. The D8000 LEDs offer enhanced “Micro-Dimming” with improved contrast and come packaged with two of the compatible “Active Shutter” 3D glasses. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield

@crutchfieldtv ok cool but let me ask u this compared to the D7000 and the D8000 WITCH one sell the most on your website and witch one has the better picture the D7000 OR D8000 from what samsung told me the D8000 had better black BUT i think samsung was just telling me this because they want me to spend more money but money is not the problem i just want to know witch tv is right for me really.witch one would u buy and why
Samsung was not just saying that to get you to spend more, they were telling you about a real difference between the D7000 and the D8000.
25,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio on the D8000 compared to 15,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio on the D7000.
This is due to Micro Dimming Plus. Not enough room here to explain that in detail, but it's on the Crutchfield Website, look up any D8000 TV and click on "Hands on Research."
@crutchfieldtv ok i understand a little but in all does 15,000,000 : 1 to 25,000,000 :1 does that 25,000,000:1 really make the difference is it really worth the extra cash that what i am trying to see hear .
Micro Dimming Plus adds hardware that allows for each of the LEDs lights to be automatically adjusted independently, so yeah, it makes a noticeable difference in the contrast ratio.
@crutchfieldtv ok cool then i guess its the D8000 i am going for then ,than's for all the info i am amember of the website i been geting some stuff from your website for a littel while now and i got to say u guy's have wonderful stuff and your staff are just fantastic really keep up the good work!
