  • Terry Fox is my Hero and such an absolute inspiration.Terry and I both battled Osteogenic Sarcoma and if it wasn't for his courage, passion and dedication I wouldn't be celebrating my 18th or an amazing 4 years of surviving cancer.

  • @LivenLovenLife Congratulations. I hope you have many more years ahead of you. Good luck.

  • Terry is from Port Coquitlam BC We all went to school tohether

  • Whenever I can, I explain Terry Fox to my fellow Americans, along with the realization that we too often neglect Canada. Right now, I am working on a fantasy when I meet Terry in 1980.

  • @BuddyNovinski he is not an american he is an Canadian we dont wanna give him to america. he is our pride.

  • @starkilla21 i know america steals everything from us and my school is so lucky his big brother fred is coming :)

  • @starkilla21i know what u mean

  • @starkilla21 he didnt say that he's saying the neglet Canadians to much and here is a great man and he is trying to tell others about him

  • @starkilla21 america doesn't deserve him, he's canadian for a reason :)

  • @starkilla21 But alot of American's like myself admire and remember Terry Fox.

  • what a sight it was to see him running over 3000 miles on that prehistoric artificial leg, he raised 1dollar for every canadian which was his goal, someone said its sad what happened to Terry, death isnt always sad, in his death he saved so many more lives, he knew that it would too, he inspires the mind to realise you CAN do whatever you put your mind to, I hope we never forget him

  • Im from his home town Port Coquitlam I remember

  • He would have made it if they didn't stop him.

  • Terry's story should be an inspiration for ALL of us, regardless of where we live. If more of us had even one-tenth of his courage, compassion, and determination, we could truly make this world a better place.

  • bad things happen to good people :(

  • Thank you for creating this piece and I really appreciate the TV clips - some I had never seen before. Terry was an exceptional human being. Canada is so fortunate to have him as one of their own.
