T TRYING TO ADVERTISE BUT IM SCARED OF WHAT IT SEES in 1908 a lady named sally rusa was in the woods looking for a dog until a ghost came and killed her so if ur reading this u will find a bloody body in your closet hanging there haunting you and will kill you and ur family and if u want to stop this just sends this to 6 videos in 30 mins or this will happen good luck!! and i only did this because it freaked me out o.o
You understood only one aspect of this film. It's not so political as you showed it, in fact politics is only background. It's more about love, betrayal, madness of communists rule, blindness to value of single life compared to some phantome idea. And it is about vanishing old lifestyle of tsaric Russia
I understood it the same way with you, at a first blink. But who knows? Maybe it has a deeper political meening than we can realize. Imagine for how many families this was a reality. I cannot wait to see Burnt by The Sun 2...
The fireball was an interesting image in the film; however, I was comparing it to the image we saw in The Wizard of Oz. There are many historical references to this movie that make it valuable for adults to watch.
This film is great but I think you have to see it complete and then see it again. It´s the better way to understand the whole story. Oleg Menshikov is wonderful!
My grandgrandparents were put to prison during the Stalin's Great Purge((

True, true again. I lived it, my family lived it. It brings tears to my eyes and aches in my insides. Its ugly and cruel and sad.

Nice composition. Your analysis of the film is spot on and the accompanying footage of Stalin only reinforces this.
