  • I'm pretty sure his teacher will be surprised seeing her student, now a soldier defending their country. How fulfilling it is to see that what was once a little child is now a brave man.

  • dont join the military and fight another mans war.

  • so touching :) It's horrible that soldiers like him are literally seeing hell on a daily basis in Iraq and yet we justify it saying they're fighting for our freedom. Damn man I just don't think thats a solid enough reason with any factual backup to justify their sacrifices.... Why don't we call it protecting our security?

  • He is a Corpsmen yes he is in the navy but Corpsmen are the medics for the Marines and they are embedded within Marine Corps units.

SEMPER FI and Thank God for Corpsmen

  • 1:36 im not going to lie he looks like a G.

  • is he a marine?? why does he have a navy rank on his collar?? it gets confusing lol..it says us navy..not us marines..

  • is he a marine?? why does he have a navy rank on his collar?? it gets confusing lol

  • @johnlopez0riginal

my understanding is that all platoons in the Marine Corps have a medic that's officially a Navy enlistee, but

is embedded in the Marines and is also one of them. Seems to go back to WWII and beyond.

  • @photoguy24 oh i know that..im a marine..lol..i kind of didnt understand the video till i watched it again lol

  • @johnlopez0riginal From what I know, apparently corpsmen wear Marine utility uniforms, but with Navy name tapes and insignia and ranks whenever possible.

  • @johnlopez0riginal ..sweety marines and navy are in someways very much alike...

  • @elesandra2

    uhmmm their not alike.

  • Force Recon, holyshit.

  • i went there but odds r enough i moved away 2 years ago

  • I'm 13 now and in a couple of years I want to join the army, not for popularity, not for the women but for my Brother. Me and him have had a rough relationship, all our life but I want to make him proud of me, I love you Kallum.

  • @legendaryspartanking May I offer a bit of serious advice? My older brother was pre-med and decided to enlist in the military and thinking he would learn more 'in the field' than in text books, he became a chopper medic in Viet Nam. He was killed in 1968 and the last time I saw him he was in a coffin. He was my hero and my best friend and I miss him every day. PLEASE reconsider enlisting, you've an entire life ahead of you!! Impress your brother by doing well in school and attending college!!

  • he's marine force recon...good stuff good stuff

  • its things like this that make me proud to live in this country with ppl that care so deeply about the men and women that serve. tho therer plenty out there that downtalk the military. their opinions are outweighed by the letters and gifts from those who do care. Tho i'm going to hate leaveing my family and possibly my wife if i get deployed. but i'm proud to say that im going to be an army soldier. God Bless you soldier

  • I'm going to go to the recruiting office this week and talk to a recruter here in Michigan and try to get enlisted for the Army

  • @Makoy155 mejo...(my son in spanish) let me tell you how proud I am of you for even saying that. I don't know you..but I'm the mother of 5 sons and 1 daughter and I will pray for you and I'm offering to adopt you as my soldier as well as the others we adopted to send letters and care packages and you can write to me at maggie daniels at rocket mail dot com.
