@ArmLegGamer To keep people talking about it. It's obvious he died in my opinion. If you wanna wish he lived to fullfill some fantasy in your head of him living a long nice life, that's fine too. But it's not consistent with his personality.

He probably wants room for a sequel if he decides to make one.

You never want to just say, "Oh yeah, he died" and then find out you have a great idea on how to continue it. Yeah, you could retcon it, but those are always stupid.

Though, personally there's way too much setup for him to not die. Also, according to wiki, "... He also stated that he believes fans would be upset if there was a continuation. [4]"

So.. yeah, think what you want.
