@ElementRickdogg abandonware sites around the internet. abandonia is one of the websites. however, abandonia complies with companies who still moneymilk those old games and sell them, so you won't find all of them there. try looking around torrents or other abandonware underground sites.

you just download the dos version and open it in scummvm

the problem was, netbooks arent very good at displaying anythign but 1024 x 600, but a few tweakes sorted it outit could NOT be sorted out via scummvm tho

i must be doing this wrong... everytime i try to select something it says scummvm could not find any specific game in the directory. and wen i click on COMi it says resource\font0.nut n then quits out... i used to be able to play it... n i didnt need scummvm i used COMi launcher or something... now i dont know where that is...

also, if scummvm can't run that specific game maybe you're trying to run something wrong, or have some bad rip version. what are you trying to run?

oh.. well scummvm is just a program for running old lucas arts games, old dos games, without any hassle you'd get on windows. you need to have the original games. or i think it can also open .1c files too. check scummvm offial site. flight of the amazon queen is freeware downloadable one

does anyone know if scummvm will run discworld with all the sound. i have the game but i get no speech when i run it through dosbox. scummvm cannot find the game.

any help no matter how little will be welcomed.

Man i cant get nine to work for monkey island 3, I get scumm could not find any games in directory. I have game installed in that fold to. Any ideas>

Man i know little about pcs, all i know is i put monkey island in HHD;C put it in APPS then in ABROAD folder, that was the whole game and all files and then i click add game from that folder and it reads it cnt find a game in there.
