I've been longing to do a playthrough/review of this game. Out of all the megaman or mairo games I played this is the game I played the most -mostly because my family only had a mac, with Doom 2 and C&C on it-.

It's a great game, you're not some all powerful jedi, yet you run insanely fast and punch hard -a hint at Jedi powers. Just your blaster vs the Empire and the aliens scum of the galaxy,

Ah I remember coming home from the dentist when I was five and seeing a ps1 hooked up to the living room T.V with this game in it. Good memories. I still can't play the third mission. I doesn't scare me anymore obviously but I guess it scared me so much as a little kid that it still has an effect.

These games are an integral part of the Star Wars Extended Universe canon. They are as important as the Thrawn Trilogy or the Legacy series.

Great..This was the first game I played on my own pc.which was a Pentium 75. I think this was the only FPS I ever played entirely with a joystick (wingman extreme)

How did you get this to work on DOSBox? When I start it, it refuses to do anything but open its own client!

thank you for this LP! (I subscribed). I love Dark Forces, but was always completly lost at one point. You know, sometimes thoses corridors all look the same. Not to mention the fight you have to do with only your punch (I cheated to see the other levels..)...

And it was frustating, 'cause my brothers completed it and I watched over their shoulders the whole time, I could see the whole game was awesome! So I'll watch your LP with the utmost happiness! ^^

I've beaten this game about 4 times before, had to do it on older computers though cus I never grew up with internet access and things like the dosbox. I think that the only level I have yet to beat on the hard difficulty is the ninth one, all the others though I got through battling all those dark troopers.

I used to own this game this game, never did beat it. I'm trying out the Remake mod for JKA, they have the first 6 levels so far. I can't get past the 2nd level, i'm lost. Its not an exact remake they took some creative liberties.
