Classic bodybuilding breakfast, Oatmeal n Egg Whites with water+MultiVitamin; then about 1.5 hours later pre workout drink and hit the gym like a BOSS! lol but when I'm cutting I hit the gym mornings fasted as well. Keep the vids coming bro good stuff....

I trained 12 weeks fasted, often supplementing with a pre-workout (due to low energy levels), and I guarantee you will lose muscle (if training without the use of anabolic steroids). Though you will lose fat, you will not gain much muscle in the process if your aim is to make lean gains.
The best thing is to train for maximum hypertrophy of the muscle with a reduced carb + calorie diet.

@dgwear69 You can still have calories at night and low carb meals like nuts, and cottege cheese. But the only reason i said try to cut carbs at night is because your metabolism slows down at night and if you eat carbs right before bed you can store more fat.
@loldudeno 24hour calorie balance > meal frequency. if you know how many calories are going into your body and you know how many calories are comming out (manipulated into macronutrients) digestion speed is irrelevant.
A lot of people are probly going to say that you losing mucsel training fasted, but they forget their glyclogen stores. I eat my preworkout meal 10 hours befor my workout witch is on a emthy stomac in the morning..

I really do enjoy your no nonsense, to the point video's!! I do have a question on Whey Protein Powder. Is it okay to have an 8oz. shake of Whey Protein in the early morning just to get the protein even if you aren't working out until later in the afternoon?? Thanks Matty!!
@Timberlinetown Absolutely! WHey protein is actually a food source in powder form. There is nothing really special about it - mostly it is used as a "supplement" to add into your diet if you are not getting enough protein through food. It is not 100% necessary nor is there anything wrong with it! Enjoy!

Men, do not train fasted.
