See a lot of "confusion" here.... remember.. whate ever hard ware you buy is a midi..... so just download this free file....and you can remap it in settings on tractor... so it fits your hardware.. I use Hercules Pro (even more buttons than the 1000).... i just addem my buttons to this layout... and it works perfect... exept I miss the lights that the 1000 have.....

it depends on the software you want to use. The vci-100 is best for Traktor and the VCI-300 is best for Itch

@Todfreund3 Really it comes down to what program you want to use. The 100 is optimal for Traktor. 300 for itch. But getting the 100 and then the Audio DJ 2 for another 100 is going to give you the best sound quality.

There are a few bugs to workout in the new Tsi of 2.2 I liked some of the new layout, and maybe it's me but after a while i think the programme gets confused with effects and starts thinking the EQ knobs are the effect parametres.

I presume it is a MIDI usb controler for DJing software like traktor, numark Cue, virtual vinyl etc, so your output would be from the PC and/or a soundcard.

I am using Tracktor pro - what is the latest map you got and do you have a perma-link so that we have a url that will always have the latest version of the mapping - ideally latest clean and latest beta!

I tried contacting Native Instruments but they have not contacted me back. Is there a setting to change in the preferences that I am missing?

I wanna ask you about latency. On this vid - here: 5:50 (when song is scrolled), I see something, wchich seems to be some kind of large latency.

I'm owner of Denon DN-HS5500 and I strongly prefer to use it as stand-alone media player instead controller, because of latency I experienced.

And what are those little white "ghosts" moving upwards on the vid? ;) See it here: 4:27 , 4:37 , 4:52 , 5:05 , 5:15 , 5:37 ? ;)

Thats not latency but a miss-alignment of the audio track with the video (they are recorded on separate channels)

those ghosts are light artifacts from the blue leds that the camera picks up. They are not visible to the naked eye.
