the way he handled this lobsters with no gloves,, haha you can tell them boys dont see many in the run of a day,,, here in nova scotia if you dont have gloves you aint goin on deck... its a way differant ball game,, our fishery is more like the deadlyest catch show..." were much more hard core"

@ladyqball07 i fished in nova scotia... hardly ever used gloves other then banding... and thats just because i could band faster with thick gloves

he is one of the most experienced skippers in our area. actually of the lobster fleet between his harbour ( portstewart ) and mine in portrush there are only about 6 fishing full time. as for gloves iv been fishing lobsters for 10 years and i wore gloves the first time i ever went out and have never worn them again since. at the end of the day if a lobster gets you what good is a glove gonna do ? guess in northern ireland we are just made of better stuff :P

@Sniper200607 actually we legally can . also he could take them to market get 60% of their value and still release them . he just chooses to save the lobsters the stress of being out of the water for the 80 mile round trip to our market
