  • @lengau I just installed Kubuntu (11.10) instead of Ubuntu which I hated with Unity and kept struggling with using Gnome 3. From the very first moment I saw Kubuntu working I fell in love. I should have switched a long time ago. I am amazed with the intuitive control and so happy with the adaptability. Still I do need to get used to using it and your tutorials are very helpfull. Thank you for your effort. So where is the next video?

  • if i wanted to install a game would i have to do the same by going to terminal

  • @zerogeo1 It depends what game you want to install. If you want to install OpenArena for example, you simply have to find it in the repositories like I show at 0:41. You can also browse for games in the main portion of the window.

If you're installing a game from somewhere other than the repositories, it depends on the file format used. For example, many games offer a .deb file, which you can simply click to install (much like when I installed Chrome at 2:49). Otherwise, yes. Terminal required.

  • How do you install Google chrome??

  • @MriBackup I show you how to install Chrome @2:01.

  • Can i install things that are supposed to be installed but i haven't means installing a installer without opening it but using this?
