I think Mitsuki did the right thing, she has always loved him and she gave him up for her bestfriend so it would be only fair that her friend do the same thing for her.

I don't think Mitsuki is to blame here. You could tell that she and Takayuki had feelings for each other at the beginning of the first episode. You see later that Takayuki buys a ring for Mitsuki, symbolzing that they are closer then they look(always trying to annoy each other.)
But Mitsuki only realized her feelings when she set Haruka and Takayuki together, and then Haruka got into a car crash.
Haruka had a horrible accident and years passed until she woke up and realized...

Pretty Much. The anime is really sad. You should watch it. This is more like a Tribute to Mitsuki (the purple haired girl). Even though a lot of people may hate her, I still wanted to make a video about her.

Takayuki visited Haruka for a full year. And after he was asked to leave Haruka alone, he was even more despaired and needed help.
Sure, it was wrong of him to let Haruka wait in the first place. And it was even worse of Mitsuki that she always tried to steal some time with Takayuki (that's why I didn't like her). But, if you really want to blame someone, then it should be the driver!
But I don't think that Mitsuki is a whore. Takayuki had to live on...and it was good, that he felt in love Mitsuki. It was also able, that haruka would never wake up again. Even if its sad in the end for haruka
