  • Brown is a nigger! Stop lying about Rachel Maddow!

  • Scott Brown -- policy by soundbite. Massachusetts is already part of a cap and trade system. Cap and trade will make energy bills go down by rewarding efficiency and punishing polluters.

  • You really don't know how bad cap and trade is if you agree with what you just said.

  • thune brown 2012 save the union..........

  • brown would have to give up his senate seat to run in 2012 cause he is up for re-election then, if obama is re-elected though i think he is a legit ticket item in 2016

  • How was John Kerry able to keep his Senate seat after losing to Bush in 2004 then?

  • that is because senators are up for re-election every 6 years and 2004 was not a re-election year for kerry, 2008 was so he didnt run for president

  • BROWN-ROMNEY 2012!!!

  • @Lex5576 I would say ROMNEY-BROWN 2012!

  • Healthcare is not a right! Hospitals are businesses! If you go to a grocery store and do not have money to pay the bill, should they wave the cost? If you do not have money to pay for your clothes at the mall, should they be free? How about free housing and utilities? Why work at all?

    Who will pay for you?

  • scott brown will run this country to ground.

  • that will actually be a step up from where obama has run it.

  • Really? I thought Obama was doing a pretty good job of that already, and he isn't even halfway into his first term.

  • Wtf does slavery have to do with this? Thats why you liberals and blacks are having your leaders get thrown out of office, because you bring up stupid stuff like that.

  • I realize that your objective is foremost to decrease our dependency on foreign oil in the middle east. But most of the oil flowing to the United States is imported from the non-OPEC nations of Canada and Mexico and a great way to decrease our dependency on OPEC is allow more drilling in the US.

  • If oil does become scarce, as I had pointed out, the price of it will go up. This will effectively, without the use of government and nonprofit organizations, encourage people to use the cheapest and most efficient/cheapest alternative energy resource or a combination thereof.

  • If oil is to run out you would suppose that we could easily predict this based on models given by oil companies. In fact, it is in the best interests of oil companies to predict a scarcity in oil therefore hightening the price of oil. So why is there no oil company with any report about the scarcity of oil?

  • The menu cost of changing from the standard energy source of oil to nuclear or solar or wind or hydroelectric energy source is great, but it should be because dismantling our current system for a new "greener" one has a cost to the environment as well as demonstrated in its cost in dollars which represent resources.

  • We are not facing resource depletion. There is plenty of oil reserves in the ground and the amount goes up daily because of new discoveries and prospects. World population increases demand for oil AND supply of oil. This only creates a greater quantity of it.

  • As we know, slavery was wide spread in the various stories in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. Many members of the US Congress used Biblical passages in their debates in the 1830s, 40s, and 50s to justify the continued legality of slavery.

  • Scott Brownshit is a bigot against the constitution.

He is a hate monger who takes the Bible out of context for political gain. Really, can we teach an old dog new tricks in America? Nope!

John 7:1 states " After this Jesus went about in Galilee, he would not go about in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him. This passage has been used to "prove" that Jews are evil and plotted the murder of Christ, for which they must be punished.

No, you can't teach America any new tricks.

  • LMAO, Your "Messiah" spoke today at a Baptist church pushing his political agenda! Shut the hell up you fool!

  • @brownleatherpants

Can you name any examples where he took something out of the bible for political gain?

And how exactly is he a 'bigot against the constitution?'

And I don't give a shit who killed Jesus -- but clearly it's on your mind.

  • He is a hate monger.

    like you

  • hahaha I get it now... you're just a schmuck.

  • HEALTH CARE FOR EVERYONE

  • Naked Scottie Brown: Family Values Republican.

Why is Naked Scottie Brown ashamed to admit that he'a a Republican?

  • He's never claimed to be a family values republican. He says roe v. wade is the "law of the land."

  • And his opinion on gay marriage is identical to Obama.

  • vote for scott brown, kill the health bill, and start the revolution

  • Cap and trade really is bullshit. It's also a slap in the face to the free market. The idea is a group of Goldman Sachs executives, close with Al Gore surprise surprise, will be privately trading the carbon credits all the while manipulating the prices to however they see fit.

Who says 'liberal' policies don't support the rich establishment?

  • 28 trillion dollar a year spending by a State??? =p

Wow, must be great to have more money than the rest of the nation combined...

That or more lies from the left.

  • I'd like to see a more energetic response from Senator Brown about the hoax behind Cap and Trade. We've all been held hostage by these crack pots about how we could actually be causing any significant global warming...oh, what is it now?..."Change?" Right. They've been terrorizing even our schoolchildren with their long winded and unscientific lies as well. These schemers need to be held accountable for the damages they have caused and cost all of us. What say you on that, Scott?

  • Let's also drill now while we explore alternatives for the future!

  • @MsCycler i second that

  • Thanks IMR! I think that Scott Brown just makes so much more sense than the woman he's running against. She just seems to a rubber stamp for whatever Obama asks for...and I say NOPE to that !!!

  • Government regulations always tax businessed which ultimately cost the consumer more. Businesses don't pay taxes. They pass them on to the customer. We will all pay for cap and trade. With Unemployment so high and families struggling to pay bills, this is a bad time to even be discussing burdening them further.

  • Scott if you leave us weed smokers alone, you got my vote! However you can't enjoy the values of my support, when it works in your favor, then dismiss me as a criminal, just because I WANT to be a pot head! As I told Martha Copley, we're not criminals..We're people who woke up one day realizing that we're just born in the wrong freaking country! We want peace

    and pursuit of our happiness

  • Hey man your pretty awesome and I would definitely vote for you if I lived in MA

  • Not to mention, he is the only candidate with any real foreign policy and legislative experience. He is not going to be a "clone" of John Kerry or blindly follow the Obama agenda, against which a majority of Americans are now voicing concern. We need an alternate voice to represent the people of Massachusetts on important issues such as the public option, taxation, the war on terror, and public safety, and Scott has well-backed strategies to tackle each of these issues.

  • @mbtaphotographer I think I'm all set with the democratic foreign policy. I'd rather not have another Obama kiss-ass in the Senate.

  • From speaking with Scott, one would not guess he was anything more than a hard working, middle-class American because those are the values that emanate from him.

Scott took time out of his busy schedule to speak with me, an ordinary citizen, about the JAG Corps. And this was long before he was running for the US Senate, and I was not even a constituent of his. Scott obviously cares deeply about his fellow citizens and is the best man for the job for that reason.

  • Scott grew up in a middle-class Wakefield, Mass. His parents divorced and had no money and his mother was even on welfare at one point. Scott put himself through college and law school before getting elected to local office in Wrentham, Mass.

Scott then was elected a Mass State Senator, and also works as a self-employed family-law lawyer, all while being a 30 yr Mass Army National Guard veteran! He's a family man, and a model citizen in his hometown of Wrentham, Mass. He definitely has my vote!

  • I have had the pleasure of getting to really know who State Sen. Scott Brown is as both a person and a candidate in volunteering my time on his US Senate campaign this fall.

Scott, as he insists we all call him, is a self-made gentleman who is not yet extremely well known to the race. This is simply because he isn't as wealthy, or, disconnected from the middle class as the front runners from the Democratic side are. His opponents have loads of cash to spend on costly campaign ads, he doesn't.
