@Slurrrm It should be humidity wise. You can buy a cheap humidity meter at a pet store. A lot of them also come with a heat gauge to help you keep track of your heat.

well i been told in nature they can leave 20+ years but in captivity only a few months but thats not true cause i have one thats going on a year old the other two died one was depressed from the pet store and his legs fell off :( the other just died :( but this one i just leave him alone put moss in there and hermit crab food he eats the moss mainly and give him water but he lives on sand with salt in it so he doesnt really use the salt water

It might be a conch shell -- there are hundreds of huge conch shells lying around on Caye Caulker -- but I'm not completely sure of this because I didn't get too close. Whatever it is, it's about the size of a human skull!
