I remember this storm affecting some relatives I had living down in Florida. They really had to bear down for the storm's wrath!
On a side note, just another example of how gorgeous and classy Cheryl Lemke carried herself during her time on TWC. I miss her!

Did Bertha redevelope into a tropical storm after the last clip?

No it remained a tropical depression when it reentered the gulf off the coast of central Louisiana and made landfall near Corpus Christi, Texas as a tropical depression.
