After you have made the masking outline, is there anyway you can change the position of one individual segment.. like say to make it bigger or smaller depending on the movement of the clip?

Thanks so much! I was just wondering though, I have Vegas Movie Studio 9.0, and it won't let me mask it =/ I don't have the postion section on my pan/crop. any ideas how I can still do it?

I always worked with Sony Vegas pro only, and if your program is different I have no idea how you can do it. I'm sorry!

Ahh do you need the masking tool for this? i have sony vegas platinum 8. I dont have motion blur either. Do i need pro to have these things?

Yes you do, I never had platinum, but open your program and see if pancrop, and the main effects are there. If not, maybe there are other stuff in your program that can replace them.
