Dude i set up some snad and drit beside my lake and i have huge snappers in their do u think they will lay their eggs in it?. i had 2 common snappers babys before though
i have some questions i have a common snapping turtle about the size of the first one show maybe a little bigger, so do they need a place to come above water and chill or do they stay under water all the time? also do they get along with other common turtles like sliders and things? and i have him in a 90 gallon tanke that is filled up about 3/4 of the way so tanks size really isnt that big of a deal
ok nice setup cut down the water level to about 1 or 2/4's of the water level depending on how big he is and yes its a must for the basking place where they can dry of and just chill!they can be with other turtles as long as they are the same size..comment me if this helped you!=)
its not bad...it moves the water around pretty good and keeps the end of the tank that it is in clean....i have another more powerful filter in the tank with it to accompany it...that seems to work fine

theres a possibility that they could breed and lay eggs. you should catch them to make sure ya got a female in there....with a male of course
