Also my Grand-father died at Manzanita Speedway in 1971.(Not sure if racing or testing) all my family say's is" that is wear POP-POP was living" IN turn 3. I was only 3 at the time and I was adopted so I never really knew him.Either way Manzanita Speedway,WILL ALWAYS be in the HEARTS of every-one that raced or has beeen to a race !!

to all of you who were commenting on the fuel cells, the tank is designed to break away from the car in the event of a collision, they also have emergency fuel shut off switches that are automatic.
