In the old days when country music was still country music, this is what the audience did.
I remember going to these types of concerts and you can have just as much fun sitting there in your seat as you can jumping up and down and screaming all the time.
this song reminds me of when i was younger ridding on my dads sholders while walking throught the backyard on a summer day he would sing this song. i just kept asking him to sing it over and over again!
He's a legend and it doesn't get any better than this. Porter's intro equals the performance. Leroy was one of my instructors at the Auction School and he has a learn at home on how to become an auctioneer as well as other things on his website. If you ever get the honor to see him in concert, it's a treat. He watches details carefully. Great family show and music won't give you a headache cuz he watches the volume carefully & always does a meet and greet after the show. He is the greatest!
omg i used to LOVE Leroy van Dyke (and Tommy Overstreet and Hawkshaw Hawkins and Jerry Wallace). Man, I bet he got tired of doing this one and "walk on by" though. lol
Top Class . Thanks to PVFlash

God bless Porter Wagoner And I don't think that ANYBODY can come close to Leroy Van Dyke when it comes to singing or to call an Auction!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
the audience are wild, if you look closely some are tapping their feet and secretly clapping. at 2:18 one picks his nose!

Have always loved this song. He was a great entertainer.
And if you think it's eas, try lip synching to the song and see if you can keep up!

I think this crowd thought they were attending a timeshare vacation presentation in Branson, MO.

Actually, this was when you actually went to a concert to listen to the performer, not make a jacka## of yourself.
