why do people argue over this footage? one side says you can clearly tell its a costume the other says its impossible you can clearly see the muscle move, details in the face ect ect. if you believe its real awesome if you dont awesome.

Planet of the apes is the worst comparison I ever heard. Your talking about a movie where the apes are SUPPOSED to be VERY HUMANLIKE, walk like humans, talk like humans, look like humans. They are not supposed to look, act, move, like Bigfoot (as if anyone knows). I mean how many costumes did they have to make for that movie? It was all about quantity not quality. But Patty has never been qualified by any expert in the field as a good costume anyways.

if this is a Costume, it would have to be hair on latex applied pieces. There would have to also be robotic extentions on the arms and air bladders to articulate the muscle movements and the facial expressions. We could easily do this today, but a couple of cowboys in 1967? not probable. planet of the apes was made in 1966-1968 and even those costumes look fake the way they move and turn and that was the hight of cosume art back then.

The polygraph machine itself is not flawed which is why it's still used on a daily basis thousands of times a day 365/year. The person giving it may not administer correctly and therein lies the problem. Since no human is infallible the test can be given incorrectly hence the the inadmissible part. This does not mean however that anyone can pass a polygraph. Those are the facts.

Saying that polygraphs have flaws cracks me up. So you can name a few instances where they say it didn't work. Ok yahoo that's great for you right? Wrong. So your basically telling me that out of the THOUSANDS of polygraphs that are given daily over decades which works out to be how many? You can name a few? @longtalltexan63 Guess he's telling the truth for sure. He passed a polygraph. So did John Wayne Gacy and The Green River Killer, guess they didn't kill anybody. They're all innocent and telling the truth, polygraphs are the proof. Charles Manson and Ted Bundy are innocent. Thanks for this incredible insight. @Doingitwell42O I have no clue if it's real or not but the fact is if it is fake that is a damn good suit. as for the weird ass haven't you ever seen a woman with a ridiculously fat ass like that? or an old person with just a weird round patch of fat where their crotch used to be? remember this was filmed in 1967, there are tons of people who would love nothing more than to debunk this film, why hasn't anyone been able to make a suit that looks that good, its been almost 44 years

If you look closly, the inside of the thighs...then look @ a dogs or even a human..The hair density. Something I noticed...most the upper inside of it's hair is less dense. Oranga's have less dense hair right there, so do gorillas'..i just googld some pics..and like i said even people...thats detail i doubt would be thought when constructing a suit..most suits have hair all over with consistant density..and this feature is a pretty much common occurance ya dig?

This is a philosophy of science question. When peering up into a cloud, of the many shapes that one can make out of it, can one also make out the shapes of certain muscles and tendons? If not, Is the cloud a phoney? Is it wearing a suit? I want to believe in bigfoot. I want to be friends with one. I desire to be the only one in my neighborhood with a pet bigfoot trained to mow my yard.

Funny choice for three good old boys, wouldn't you say? Making a bigfoot costume with breasts? And a hemorrhage? Plus all that muscle definition.

It's a shame the costume designer chose to stay hidden away all these years, they could have made a fortune in Hollywood. They were unnaturally committed to staying hidden away for the sake of a hoax.

The costume designers DID make a fortune in Hollywood: Wah Chang, John Chambers, Janos Prohaska.....

But the suit looks like crap. They just threw it together using old parts. That's why it was filmed all blurry and from afar so you couldn't get a clear view of it.
