  • Wow, and to think new bands can't get heard, but we can't get rid of these has beens who never had it to begin with...talk about unfair! Bob should give up singing and become a carpenter or something he's good at!

  • I'm thinkin Bobby approves of the Illuminati version ?

  • That tambourine really adds alot. Reminds me of the great sounds that Brent used to come up with. The Bob and Phil band is lame. It has no support from the drummer and percussionist. If Mickey and Billy were in the band, this might not sound too bad, Maybe.

  • you guys are funny... see ya in denver!

  • dead head since 89??....77 here pal. ill take the music in any form of members. loved warren but john is doing a nice job, enjoy them while they are around.

  • this was a great set list, enjoyed myself. bye warren, hi john

  • I'm pretty sure I bought 6 Furthur tickets for Oakland in September, heard them, and then stayed home the next time they played the West Coast without somebody telling me I should. How dare I criticize, what was I thinking?

"Right outside this lazy Summer home,

Don't got time to call your,

    soul a critic, no.

Right outside the lazy gate, of Winter's Summer home,

Wonderin' where the nut thatch winners'

Wings a mile long just carry

    the bird away."

    -Robert Hunter

  • to no one in particular:

since when did everyone become so analytical?? no one cares about your negative feedback. phil & bobby will do what they want for whatever reason and if you like it...great & if you don't stay home, do yoga, & listen to lady gaga w/ your little daughter and learn to love it.

  • This is sounding great. If you don't like it stay home. At least this band is tight, and Phil and Bob are having fun. Nice to have someone who knows all the parts and not have intense southern fried blues/rock (Warren) all over everything...

  • with new and improved lyrics!! courtesy of bobby (4:36) never stop never stop no no

  • just feel good, it's music

  • Seems like this was the best night of the run. Bob and Phil could have done better with Mark Karan, his sound is more vintage and soulful. I think all the young hot heads that tag these comments worshipping John K and Dark Star Dorkestra are hilarious. I never cared for them, been a serious Deadhead since '89. At least Warren sounded kind of like Brent singing. John K. sounds like Vince on a real bad night.

  • I like this comment. I hear John as a near Jerry clone. At least Warren is Warren and the same with Karan. Jerry's gone. A lot of people really dig hearing the "same" GD sound up there with John. I don't. I do love this music but I don't want someone replicating Jerry. I want someone making these songs new and fresh. They somewhat are . . . but John K is just a Grateful Dead replication. Been there done that, bought the kind veggie burrito.

  • Serious Deadhead all the way back to 89?... LOL

  • damn they sound good!

  • gooooooo johnny.. ur the man! and please change the title to this video, this isnt the phil and bob band... this is all there band and its kind of insulting to the other incredible musicians in the band labeling it that way... its furthur, not bob and phils band furthur

  • I drove 3 hours just to see bob and phil, label your videos what u want

  • lol!

  • What a weekend of amazing music. We love you all. See you all in February!!!!
