What do you think of Atavin vs. Xanax? I take 2mg per day of Xanax and 50mg of Paxil. It helps, but I still have anxiety and I could be doing a lot better. Would you suggest adding Atavin to my regimen?

Listen to this man when he says do not take with alcohol because I was having random blackouts with it and i was on clonazepam at the same time and it had me spitting out some green acid id have to say it was one of the most fucked up times ive ever had

Trust me it slows you down a good bit I was on the lowest dose and I would still be out for a good while idk if it worked because I was out of it half oof the time

ive just been perscribed lorazepam and havnt taken it yet, ive got it in my hand and just about too. Ive also got citalopram which is an anti depressant and thats helped my suicidal tendencies, you should try them

I consider lorazepam to be a wonderful drug -- I currently take 1 mg four times daily, and find that this drug aborts panic attacks before they have a chance to establish themselves. Lorazepam packs a powerful punch due to its very high affinity for the GABA subtype A receptors. I become somewhat disillusioned by the hysteria that surrounds prescription of the benzodiazepines -- if you don't like them, then DON'T TAKE THEM!

The only BZD that I prefer over lorazepam is alprazolam.

Ive been prescribed 1Mg tablets of lorazapam too treat acute anxiety it helps me a lot calms me without a feeling of being wasted i take 2mg in morning and 3mg in evening and I'm calm throughout the day but boy oh boy id love too have a couple of bourbon whiskeys in the evening too unwind further do u think that is a good idea

Ativan is strong...

Binds to GABA a crapload more than valium.

Same here, I've taken more than that and only felt slightly tired.I find a small dose only has a subtle effect.Even so doctors in the UK generally don't like to prescribe it.

It's okay to take it once in a while - in case of acute panic attacks or whatsoever. But I think it's a very bad idea to take it on a daily base. After one to two weeks you get addicted and withdrawal symptoms are not funny.

My question is taking 0.5mg lorezepam which i do daily 1-2times a day,does it cause chance of side effects like having this really bad headache and a little dizziness, and some numbness,i feel i almost want to faint. and when i go to sleep it goes away and wake up in the mornning it starts again i feel pressure and squeezing in my head. does this all have to do with the meds, and should i stop taking them for a while, to see any changes? or should i se a doctor hopefully is not a tumor!...

ive been taking lorazepam 2mg 2x1 tablets for 2 years on and off

the drug is great at relaxing you or making you feel good but dont keep taking them all the time take when really needed that way you get the full effect and u dont become dependant on them. easy said then done for some people just thought id sheir my view of lorazepam 2mg

They are saying that 1mg Ativan = 10 mg of Valium...they are different medicines! I have to say Diazepam holds the title for the best all rounder in this league.

well ativan is much stronger but valium lasts much longer, and there not different medicines, ativan is almost the same chemicly structured as valium all benzos.

what's the difference between ativan and klonopin?I know they're bothin the same family but ativan doesn't work AT ALL for me (I actually took about 20 mg. in a single sitting due to exegent circumstances and NADA);where as with klonopin i only need to take about 3mg every 3 days and it works 100 times better.I await your reply...thanks.

20 mg no way, I cut 1 mg of Ativan in half and I was out like a light for 12 hours. But, everyone has a different body chemistry...

@SmokesdaGanja Yes to your last sentence. I have a huge tolerance to benzos, I can take 8mg Lorazepam and feel slightly drowsy but if I take 2 mg Clonazepam I can barely walk or stand. Hence why we have so many diff benzos made. For all kinds of people lol. Tall, short, brown, white, gay, straight lmao.... no but seriously go check on wikipedia how many there are... ridiculous, and funnier thing is that I've tried 80% of them all! Clonazepam is by far the most euphoric followed by Temazepam! :D

i have .5mg bottle of lorazepam. never use it. when i started it, i started feeling even worse. ended up punching my wall, kicking in my tv, and just ended up wanting to just cause serious damage to myself.

thats not the type of person that i am. im a generally calm person. we all have our moments. but i mean, it felt like i completly lost it. as if i was viewing myself in 3rd person. i couldnt feel pain, or any emotion.

im going to go ahead n say that the medication didnt fix my anxiety

I don't think there is any evidence either way on that but I doubt it. The sperm have already been made before the drug will effect them.

Just don't take too much or you'll end up asleep, she won't like that too much :)

upto 10mg daily!!!! you can get that in US?

here we only got 4mg daily max. As for don't drink alcohol, the 2 work hand in hand. So if you are 100% nervous, 1 beer and 1 lorazepam will see you straight, alternatives are no beers and 2 lorazepams.

You are wrong! The Antikonvulsiv and Anxiolytic Effect is less with alcohol only the Sedativ part works as a Potenzierung. Normal dose is 0,5- max.2,5mg in two or three times a Day. Not more than 7,5mg/ and no longer as max.3 Weeks.

btw: Benzodiazepine (Sternbach 1959>>> Chlordiazepoxid and one Year later Diazepam) are not create for nervous felling´s:)
