Watching your videos over a period of many months encouraged me to get my bike license, and I have since April 2011, been the proud owner of a Gixxer 750 identical in colour to your bike. It is quite a lot of power for a first bike, but I respect the bike fully, and love my limbs & life, so I ride responsibly, and do all I can to keep myself safe on the English roads. Keep giving us more fantastic insight.

respect for riding in winter cannot be easy with salt and gravel waiting on every corner,took my 09 zx6r out for a few days last winter, salt took its toll on the mirror stems guess what not covered by warranty

@pomplumber ouch! I'm sorry, luckily for me, Oregon doesn't put salt down. They either put de-icer or gravel down and usually if there is a ton of gravel I wont take the bike. I'm not worried about hitting it but on the freeways other cars and trucks pick it up in their tires and pelt it at you, now that sucks! Lol

hey i just got my motorcycle permit (only till i get a bike and can get it legal) i as wanting to know is the GSXR a great bike. like ive never had myown and havnt riden a street bike but i know how and i can only afford to get that one and not another. so really whats your opinion on the GSXR compared to the other 600cc bikes? i know im getting a 600 i jsut dont know which i want to get lol. any help would be amazing.

Hey! I haven't seen many of your videos yet, but DAYUM your bike is sexy! Niccccee! Can you pull wheelies at all? If so, film it! Otherwise if you wanted to learn, I recommend watching downshift83's wheelie tutorial videos. Also, have you done a track day before? I own an R6 (I have some footage on my account) and have done a few track days. Seriously worth it! It improves your riding and is a blast I found. Anyway, nice vid, nice bike!!

Well I don't really have anything to compare it against because it's the only bike I've ridden besides the course ones and to be honest with ya that was awhile ago.

The thing is it isn't very forgiving as some say and the bigger bike you get, the heavier they are but I think the gsxr 600 and 750 differ of like 50 lbs or so but you should really try sitting in them at the dealership. They can also help you out!

haha, it was snowing yesterday too but then around 10 pm it turned to rain. Should be in the 40s this week and lower 50s next.

I know a friend who lives in Minnesota and is getting the same weather as you however she doesn't care cause she only drives a car :p

Well I'd say go into a dealership and just sit on a lot of different ones. That's what I did and the gixxer was the shortest one for me.

You can't lower the seat but the suspension can be lowered, however, I've heard bad things on lowering bikes like they are easier to catch onto objects in the roads like speed bumps and tree limbs, so I'd advise you to talk to a salesman at a dealership about it.

um, well if I could say anything I say think of it as you are riding in rain but worse. You can't turn at a harsh angle and you always want to roll the throttle on slowly and don't pop the clutch.
