@bfvsgf..im sorry but there is nothing inhumane about declawing a cat, every cat that we have ever had has been declawed (front paws). it doesn't hurt them and they dont feel it. when you children or small kids around you'll understand. they dont mean to scratch you but they do. not to mention you declaw a indoor cats and esp when you have multiple cats. i kinda took offense to that my family are not mean horrible people.

declawing a cat actually isnt bad! My 2 cats are declawed in the front but not in the back. If your going to declaw a cat do it in the front only, and if they are an indoor cat only. My cats only stay indoors. If you also have kids declaw them in the front.

I have two cats and they are both declawed because they can destroy your walls and furniture throughout the years. But it isn't inhumane if you go to a good vet to get it done.

@momo237302 No, it's not merely "clipping" the nails. It's completely removing the claws of the cat. I only used fingers as a comparison. Cats use their claws for grip and defence. Removing them would be LIKE removing somebody's fingers, for example. It is cruel and inhumane, either way.
