They should've had Sektor in place of Smoke fighting Liu Kang and Kitana, and given Sub-Zero a bigger part. He and Nightwolf could have joined Liu Kang, Sonya, Jax, Kitana, and Raiden into Outworld. At the end, Sub-Zero could've fought Scorpion again and Nightwolf could've found the human version of Smoke, or vice versa.
