Fable III is a very good game.. fable's problem is that the firs was just perfect.. the second wasn't as good as the first.. and the third was just another try of achieving the lost perfection of fable the lost chapters.. (I played 4 times Fable TLC 2 times the second and just one fable III)

Oakfield was always where I had my holiday home. My main house was in Bowerstone Market Square right next to the pub, but whenever town life got a bit too much it was off to Oakfield with the wife and kids to relax in the Sandgoose. I love Fable 2

I loved fable TLC, I thoguth fable 2 was err... okay. Fable 3. Rocked too hard. All the sadness the roamcne the action and the dileemas, as for gamplay adn graphcis, fable 3 was superior to all. So I liked TLC and 3 equally. But of course I loved jack as villain more than I will ever like the crawler. Thoguth the crawler was areat villain too. As for lucien. Okay I admit it he sucked

In early development Oakfield went under the name of Ravenscar, but the name was changed after it was decided that the name "Ravenscar" sounded too dark. "Ravenscar" was eventually used in Fable III for the island prison of Ravenscar Keep in the Traitor's Keep DLC.

There will be a quest right be fore you set off to the spire that will need you to kill shadow worshippers and stop the poisoning of the Golden Acorn. and the quest is called "Defender of Light". You do this quest, then when you come back from the spire, Oakfield will be beautiful as always.

the scenery in fable 2 is absolutely beautiful! especially in oakfield. unfortunately, last time i checked my status in oakfield i was famous..in a bad way. but i dont blame myself, i blame the fact that people suddenly run screaming in terror when i try to examine them and instead pull out my katana...So I guess I can still enjoy the beautiful countryside of oakfield; now with screams of terror! :D

@KatriiKillsYou I thought the graphics were actual very good for Fable 2 i was a little surprised. The environments looked pretty good. The only thing i never liekd about Fable is how once you beat it it's not a challenge and there's not enough areas to explore. Online PvP or coop would be nice. (i don't mean the crappy camera angle "coop" either) But i did enjoy the game, it was funny, fun, and surprising.

When I came to Oakfield I thought I stepped into the shire. The green fields, the farmers, the booze, and how the sun sparkled against the glistening green grass. So beautiful. I'd live a simple life in oakfield if I could.

In Fable II, I idolised Reaver. I wanted to be like him in every way. I got his haircut, the closest clothing I could find and dyed it all Reaver's colors and focused on ranged the entire time. I also got the gun that looked and sounded close to Reaver's Dragon Stomper .48, the Master Clockwork pistol. It has the same sound and design, but it's white as opposed to the red Drangon Stomper.

I remember when I first played the game, I thought it was Oakvale and got all happy. Then once I got to Wraithmarsh and realized that THAT was Oakvale, I got sentimental and starting going "awwww, I remember that from the first Fable!" every 5 freakin seconds. I disliked Reaver after that ontop of him killing Barnum. but then I read his journal and I liked him, lol.

Many people hate fable 2 because it was not good as the first fable, but i love it!!! Actually, in Fable 3 you aren't king or queen. You're the prince or princess. You play as the child of the King/Queen.

Your Fable II character is the king or queen as noted in the See the Future DLC.

You eventually become the king/queen though whilst dealing with this new threat "Aurora" (sounds like a nation rivalling Albion ), or so I have read on Lionhead interviews.

Oakvale was from the first Fable, where the story starts off. It's very similar to Oakfield in the second game. Oakvale is now Raithmarsh where you get sent from Garth's cullis gate, it has been so ever since Reaver made his deal with the shadows who live in Raithmarsh.
