Well, we cut paper to 11.5 by 17.5. We would take 6 sheets and fold them in half together to make tiny books (we made six of these tiny ones). Then, we punched small holes through the folds, and using waxed linen thread, we sewed the books together. Then we used linen cloth and glue to hold the booklets (called signatures) together for two days. Next class, we made the cover using poster board and canvas glued together, then glued the first and last signatures onto the cover.
