  • My son is with high frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) in his 2nd week since birth, It's a hard situation to us as parents, we want to have our baby with us

  • My daughter was born with PPHN and was placed on ECMO at four days old. She is doing very good, she is going to be eight years old in two weeks!

  • My little girl was placed on ECMO at four days old. She was born with PPHN. She is doing very well now, she actually is turning eight in two weeks. I am so happy that everything turned out good for you!

  • @Nadiabeaz Out little guy just turned 3 and it all seems like a bad dream now. Thank G-d we both have healthy children!!!

  • @sevenstring777 My little guy is now 4 and I can't imagine life without him. When I look back it did seem like a bad dream for me too. So blessed that I have him.

  • @sevenstring777 I so happy for you right now. Watch a adult in a machine like this is really painfull, but a little baby?? It's terrifying. My cousin's daughter didn't have the same bless, she died with one year old.

But I'm really happy, because little angels like your baby boy stay here, on this planet, and can fill this world of joy and smiles. God bless you and your family.

  • :o(

    Bonne chance !

  • Wow to think I was in that same condition 15 years ago. Trust me he will be something special!

  • u have no idea how proud of my self i am right now that i'll be able to operate one of those sometime soon..

  • You should be very proud. This machine is the only reason my son is alive today. Thank you!

  • I see a red glow.

    What are those red lights?

    Are those his pulse oximeter?

    God bless.

I pray for him every day.

  • I think the red glow is from the blood oxygen sensor. I can't remember it all very clear.

  • Well, he is in my prayers.

    God has really blessed him.

    He was a fighter.

    He still is a fighter.

Even more so, than the troops who fought in the Civil and Revolutionary war.

  • Yes, those are pulse oximeter probes on his foot and hand. They sometimes use two, one preductal on the right hand and the other post ductal to check for shunting in the heart.

  • I was on ECMO in 1988, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I was 17 months old at the time.

  • I thank God in all my prayers for the ECMO machine. Without it so many children would not have a chance.

  • OH NO.

    How are you these days?

I'll put you on my prayer list.

    That is horable!

  • I'm doing very well, actually. I'm 20 now, and I haven't had an asthma attack or anything in YEARS.

  • GOD BLESS!

How is she doing these days?

  • He is doing wonderful! He is 6 months old and is in perfect health! Miracles do happen.

  • Well, I pray for him every morning and night.

    He is very sweet.

I am glad he is doing better.

    GOD BLESS

  • He is in my prayers EVERY DAY.

    GOD BLESS.
