That's because the definition of sex assault has been expanded to include things that twenty years ago weren't even felonies. In fact in many US states, there's something called of misdemeanor sex assault. Should we compare that to murder?
How many people reading this would rather get killed than be the victim of misdemeanor sex assault?
And that's why it isn't taken as seriously.

Some men on YouTube reject their responsibilty to re-educate and support sick males who rape, by posting films on YouTube which actually show rape scenes from controversial films out of context to provide fantasy porn rape.
