I'm reading Vessel of Honor how satan followers are openly confronting the saints in our churches. This happens more than we like to think, but what hurts is christians are so clueless on bible verses, and how to protect themselves. The truth is the churches in America are weak, and many are lost to the kingdom of darkness.

Take a hard look at what God actually calls for men to do AVoice. God gives government NO authority to care for the poor. Kings and princes are called to be holy and righteous and ensure that justice is afforded to all be they rich or poor (God is no respecter of men). We are warned not only to not steal or covet but that wealth gathered by vanity shall diminish (Proverbs 13:11). Trying to ensure 'social justice' by 'spreading the wealth' via government has no scriptural support.
So are you saying that we should just let the poor suffer their fate, that when we have the power to give them proper health care, shelter, food, the basics of life, we should not?
Trickle down economics has no direct scriptural support either but conservatives rally around it like it's gospel.
No, I am saying we should do as God calls for us to do. It is the duty of the believer and the church to care for those in need including spiritual care. But God gives no man the authority to seize the weath or labor of another and give it to the poor. We are to give of ourselves as God directs us. And if men obeyed God we would have strong nuclear families which cared for their own, charity for those in need and not the idolatrous 'let the government do it' disaster we are seeing.
I just wish there was a middle ground between the Godless no regulation capitalism that the Conservatives support and the Godless soviet style socialism that could happen on the other end of the spectrum.

I'm a Christian but I'm not to sure everlasting hell fire is real. I think people who don't make it will die a second death, the death of the spirit. Hell could be here on earth when your not walking with god understanding the Holy Spirit then your in hell letting the Devil use you. I find it hard to believe that an all loving god could stand to let you burn in hell fire for eternity. I'm still looking into this so don't hold it against me if you feel different.

When it comes to me and wanting the Lord Jesus Christ to cleanup my family it has nothing to do with fear of the law or even fear when it comes to videos about hell on youtube. Those things do not scare me that much. I sad with a Canadian veteran two days ago and getting drunk and he told me about killing people in the Belgian Congo and stacking the dead bodies. That didn't scare me or bother me at all. What would bother me is to be deceived and never knowing God's love.
I know what evil is and the cost of evil. That is why I am desperate and have asked 100's of people to pray for my precious sons so that they may take the right road and make the right choices. I worry now that my dad has passed on because he went through three marriages and at least 9 women in 40 years. I grew up around alcoholics, drug addicts, adulterers, murderers etc. The wicked these days say that homosexuality is alright and call Jesus sexy. These people will NOT go to heaven.
I have a long time Christian friend of mine that I asked her to pray that the Lord would cleanup my family. A scientist said on the George Stroumboulopoulos show that we have 100 years left at the most. When I went to my dad's funeral and stayed with some Christian friends of mine they said that we have 50 years left before the Lord comes at the most. Sadly people do not want God to cleanup their lives. People only want to hear what tickles their ears.

It must be really comforting to you to be able to know who is going to hell and who isn't.
You sound like someone who was strapped to a gurney and brainwashed. You sound robotic.
I love God and Jesus, but this is trash...you seem to lack education, insight and understanding. It's all black and white to you. Your mind is locked shut and filled with fear, hate and anger.
I hope God's love will transform you. It will, eventually!

A vicious, murderous, child torturing monster who is vain, easy to anger, plays favorites, is mean spirited, cruel and vindictive.
Some God you've created. Actually, you didn't create it. It was handed down to you and you, with your FEAR mind and heart, made it part of your life.
Fortunately, the only people who believe you are the same dunderheaded meanies who look forward to the day the "evil" ones get tossed in the furnace. SAD!

You describe God as Satan would paint Him kolainca (and how Satan would rule if he could have surplanted God). The God of the Bible calls us to holiness and righteousness, to forsake all evil. The history of mankind speaks to the truth of the Bible that man is as wicked and estranged from God as Christ and the apostles taught.

The fact is, if God IS as described by you through your interpretation (and it is ONLY an interpretation) then God is the Devil and not worthy of worship or allegiance. Any God that orders genocide and tortures billions in hell for eternity is by definition, E-V-I-L. Period.
But God is NOT like that. He is Love. He will reform the evil doers according to His calendar, not yours. Don't worry, your need for vengeance will be slaked. But evil will be overcome with GOOD, not more evil.

Leave it to God. He is loving and just. No one "gets away with anything..." but as Christ said, he will draw ALL to himself in a union of all things. Things are far more complicated and wonderful than you know or are allowed to know by your tradition.
And consider this. Your tradition means billions who NEVER heard of Christ are burning in hell while the child murdering rapist who confesses Christ on his deathbed gets a ticket to heaven.
That's just? Think about it.

Except that 'tradition' has no justification in what God tells us in the Bible. God is just and all men know that God exists (whether they care to admit it or not) as creation speaks of Him. Men are accountable for that knowledge, whether they have heard the gospel verbalized or not, and all men know that some things are inherently wrong like stealing, rape and murder. And a confession of Christ by the mouth when the heart remain's Satans property will save no child murdering rapist from hell

Why, then, are there more than 20,000 Christian sects and denoninations? Why is YOURS the correct one?

One thing people might pray about is that the Canadian government says that they are going to do something about Korea by 2012. No doubt that if there is military action taken that Canada. USA and England will be involved.

I hope so as well. The Canadian government chose to stay out of the Iraq war. That was their choice. However they chose to be involved in Afghanistan. When it comes to North Korean I do not think that any free nation will have a choice to opt out on that one. North Korea is a very serous problem in the world.

Your speak the truth sister in Christ. It doesn't help that most pastors shown on TV nowadays are preaching this new age apostat doctrine, and not even the church sees it. They're telling us GOd loves everyone and a good God won't send you to hel. Tells us things that will tickle our ears. People do not realize that we have little time left.
As I said on the George Stroumboulopoulos a scientist said that we have a 100 years at the most because of how we have polluted the earth. A Christian couple I know says that we have until 2020 at the most before the Lord returns. All Christians should be praying that they will not be deceived. Time is short.

When it comes to me and wanting the Lord Jesus Christ to cleanup my family it has nothing to do with fear of the law or even fear when it comes to videos about hell on youtube. Those things do not scare me that much. I sad with a Canadian veteran two days ago and getting drunk and he told me about killing people in the Belgian Congo and stacking the dead bodies. That didn't scare me or bother me at all. What would bother me is to be deceived and never knowing God's love.

I know what evil is and the cost of evil. That is why I am desperate and have asked 100's of people to pray for my precious sons so that they may take the right road and make the right choices. I worry now that my dad has passed on because he went through three marriages and at least 9 women in 40 years. I grew up around alcoholics, drug addicts, adulterers, murderers etc. The wicked these days say that homosexuality is alright and call Jesus sexy. These people will NOT go to heaven.

I have a long time Christian friend of mine that I asked her to pray that the Lord would cleanup my family. A scientist said on the George Stroumboulopoulos show that we have 100 years left at the most. When I went to my dad's funeral and stayed with some Christian friends of mine they said that we have 50 years left before the Lord comes at the most. Sadly people do not want God to cleanup their lives. People only want to hear what tickles their ears.

Man cannot fathom God's love and His Justice -- and tries to interpret God's justice according to the carnal mind, which can only conceive of hateful tortures. You choose to believe in a false image of God as an angry torturer whose "justice" exceeds His love and mercy. Fortunately, God has other plans! People who do wrong and make it their "lifestyle" will reap the pain they've sown. Even so, God eventually will redeem them.

In grade school a teacher told me to stand up in class and she said in front of the whole class that I was going to be in Kingston Federal Penitentiary when I grew up. Now I am 42 years old and I have two precious sons and I am trying hard to make sure they take a better path. What amazes me is that many people these days think that they can live anyway they want and that God is going to love and except them.
