@AlphaMetalGhost It's a home-made version similar to a "ProMark Hot Rods" PLUS I've glued stiff hi-hat felts (Pearl I think) at the butt ends so I can also use them as cymbal mallets.
@JeffreyDrumpants Wuhans have a cool sound, but live they sound like a dull piece of metal. The more expensive paiste chinas (20series or 2002's) Are fucking amazing. Wuhans are cheap bad quality chinas which SUCKS live.
@Orreborrekorre why are you all about paiste? theyre not the most expensive anyways. the sabian hhx is one of the best chinas. but i agree, wuhans are great, but live they arent as good. but for recording, i couldnt be happier
@mitmar8 Can't remember... probably too much, lol. Paistes are pretty expensive outside of the US. Try any respectable music store selling selling stuff on eBay for some good deals.
I'm getting the 14" Alpha China coming Wednesday together with a 16" Rock Crash! I own the 18" Alpha China as well. All awesome cymbals! Thanks for uploading!
Cool! The PST5 18" China seems to get mellower with age. At first it had a bright and crystalline aspect to it, but 2 years down the road it is darker sounding than the vid. It really cuts nicely and won't part with it, even after trying other far more expensive chinas. The Alpha 14" is a beaut too... IMHO of course.
