So I think it still has a shot at being nominated, and definitely won't go up against Woman's Work. I have to double-check to see if it wasn't among this year's Emmys.

@1mnmfan Tyce won for something--maybe the Adam and Eve dance from Season 4. Woman's Work was Season 5, which was the same season as Gravity and Koop; so either way, it's not a contender.

no it wasn't about cancer. She can't walk and that doesn't stop him from loving her. Eventually he doesn't try to fix her, he lifts her himself and helps her.

@southshoresalisbury Actually, I have to correct that. It is about breast cancer. Travis Wall's mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently battling it. He decided to choregraph a dance reflecting that. Allison portrays the mother and Robert portrays the son, in a way mirroring Travis and his mother and also Robert and his mother since Robert's mother battled breast cancer as well.

This is so beautiful. A friend of mine sent this to me in an e-mail. She told me that this dance made her think of Jesus working through the girl and giving her strength to dance so gracefully and magestically. I can see that. It's a beautiful dance. Wonderfully choreographed.

@instntstr9 oh i know!! haha, she's absolutely amazing! But if you didn't see season 2, it was seriously filled with a lot of amazng dancers. The choreographer travis wall was in that season thought he didnt win :( season 2 had a lot of amazing people....that turned out to be choreographers in this show! Benji, travis, and dmitri all did rountines in later seasons. man season 2 was just pure awesomeness. im so glad they brought her back!

I like this routine. It's in my top 5 contemps for this season. But, I wasn't all emotional about it. Probably because of the fast part in the middle. It took me out of the story and into the movement. Sort of like addiction. But I enjoyed the movement just like I enjoyed the addiction movement.
