It's not the only classic that is truncated this tour... add to this the fact that a good few absolute U2 stompers aren't even in the line up (The Fly, Bullet the Blue Sky , songs from Zoo and POPmart etc) and I detect a strong tactical decision to steer away from these songs or from giving them too much oomph. I think possibly U2's last ever tour, whenever that will be (five years/ten years) is already in the planning. I certainly think this is the last tour of their back-to-basics 00 era.

Edge isn't really around his effects equipment very much during this performance, leading me to believe his understudy is doing most of the work. And that's fine, so long as he gives us the solo. But he doesnt' even give us the solo.
