It isnt hard to play it with all of the parts in a one man setting. Ill be posting a video. You have a good idea going here. There are some chords you should omit the bass line notes. This will make it sound better. When a bass plays a bass line in this song it generally overpowers the guitar parts. That is why when you combine them all the way you have done here it gives some chords a prominent jazzy sound which is not what this song is about. EX. For G#m, the inversion doesnt go well God Bless
gee..never expect to draw so much flak haha... the idea is not to play the song like the song - that would be a real challenge in a single instrument setting. However, like I always mention, the point is to have something that can be singable in a small group setting.
Want to sound exactly like the song, the original CD is the best :)
This is a terrible version of the song and definitely not simpliefied, alot of chords people will not recongize. You can't even sing on key with that version, the chords don't match the vocals of the song making it impossible to sing on key.
thats not how you play it this version is way different i know how to play this song my guitar teacher showed me and he plays it at church so this isnt how to play it people
hi bro, blesses, the title should be 'how not to play rain down' 'the truth will make u free, keep practicing u will improve

Yes, it is not the same. This version is a somewhat simplified version arranged for a small group setting.
