@sammygod09 Check the statistics. The "Nones" (those which claim no religion at all) is the fastest growing segment of the U.S. population. Religion is failing on all levels, included its membership. We are becoming more secular each year, and eventually religion will be resigned to the bin of historical mythology and fairy tales.

@0debug Another outsider perspective, I think that in a nut shell is what the Tea Part is all about, the realisation that religion being the majority is facing it's last stand in America and America is likely to end up as secular as Europe unless they do something. Racism is a belief which should be attacked for instance. If your beliefs are attacked you either can defend them, or your beliefs change. Still, we are growing in numbers, and I feel that as we get larger (and the religious people become fewer) there will be less instances of religion trying to dominate our lives. As the Nones grow in strength we will have more resources to fight the (dying) tide of religious fascism in our country. Brighter days are ahead for people who value reason and reality!

@999Thip What proof is there that this will happen? and for a Theistic god you talk about? Again why would I seek Jesus when he was so gravely wrong about the end of the world. He doesn't seem so divine to me. Why would this all be happening anyway? It sound like fear mongering without evidence to be honest, prove me wrong though.

Now that's just untrue, the bible is never been seen as even historically accurate, never mind any of there predictions. I believe Jesus of Nazareth quite probably existed, but I fail to see how he was a Messiah in any way, Yes I do like to doubt, but my name unfortunately is not Thomas, but on that subject you should read the gnostic gospel of Thomas, written around the same time as Matthew Mark Luke & John, It gives a very different tale of Jesus, plays down the divinity,miracles and resurrection etc. Worth a read.

Simple solution - governments should ignore ALL religious ritual and tradition - just like your FUCKING Constitution stipulates. I think its funny how they don't respect the views of people who want to pray, but not in Jesus' name...so they yell it at public meetings to make themselves feel better. They would probably be offended if someone shouted, "I allah's name!" in that converence. They want all the respect without giving ANY back. Horrible people.
