I was sitting only 50 feet from where she crashed into the wall right by turn four. The crash sounded like an explosion and damaged a fence pole and left a nice hole in the fence. They wired a piece of fence on but made us all move up to the next section. After that one it kinda felt like a good idea. They repaired the pole before the shootout and let people go back to the "action" seats. Turn four is the spot to be at with the rookies driving.

She hit the wall with her roof. Like Dave Blaney has at Talledega in the Busch series in 1998 or Michgan in the COT in 2008.

umm how much of this did you watch on TV because if you where watching it on TV you can see more roof damage than Carl Edwards;s flip at TALLADEGA in 09

She hit the roof of the car at mabye a 135 degree angle against the wall and pavement. It turned back over onto the wheels the same way it flipped so it never did an entire revolution and never did a 180 degree flip in which it landed on the roof.

@cheese2507 Well if you really want to get technical, what you are explaining is a barrel-roll. A flip would be like what happened to the Mercedes-Benz in 1999 at Circuit de la Sarthe.

flip could either be a blowover or a barrel-roll. I don't count it a flip unless it goes completely upside down or comes to rest on its side.

@18carNASCAR She hit the wall on the side of the roof at almost full speed, Carl only hit the fence with roof of his car, resulting in less roof damage. Hitting a fence is different than hitting a wall. Remember, Carl was in the COT, another reason Carl got less roof damage.
