I don't think the prophet Daniel meant technology was an increase of knowledge. It's just a way for us to communicate faster, travel faster, and basically letting a device do the thinking for us. Which is actually making us dumber. I think the increase of knowledge is referring to knowledge of the written word, studying the Bible in depth, learning a new language such as Hebrew, people learning their true history, or having the 7 spirits of Yahuveh, now that's knowledge.
